SpaceX Successfully Launches The SES-11 / EchoStar 105 Satellite

On Wednesday, October 11, SpaceX successfully launched the SES-11 / EchoStar 105 communications satellite into orbit. Less than 10 minutes after launching from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Falcon 9 first stage successfully landed on the autonomous drone ship, “Of Course I Still Love You,” that was waiting in the Atlantic Ocean. 

This mission was the third time the Falcon 9 first stage has been flown and landed. Now that the first stage is on the drone ship, it will make its way back to Port Canaveral, Florida.
