This will be SpaceX’s fifth mission of 2017 and will launch the highly secretive NROL-76 payload for the National Reconnaissance Office. SpaceX will attempt to land the Falcon’s first stage back to landing zone 1 (LZ1) at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station a few miles away from launch complex 39a.

This will be SpaceX’s first launch for the National Reconnaissance Office since 2010 with hopes of more launched for the secretive government agency. When there is a launch for the National Reconnaissance Office very few details about the mission are given out.

We will post more information as we can.
