On Sunday August 14, 2016 SpaceX successfully launched its second mission for the Japanese satellite operator SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation. This mission was the JCSAT 16 and launched at 1:26 am from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. After the launch SpaceX successfully landed the Falcon 9 first stage on the autonomous drone ship off the Florida coast.

Below in a  long exposure 360° panoramic image of the Falcon 9 rocket I captured from the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge.
