Falcon Heavy has arrived on the Space Coast!

The Falcon Heavy Rocket is currently at Cape Canaveral, Florida and partially assembled inside the SpaceX hangar at launch complex 39A. SpaceX has been trying to launch the falcon heavy for what seems like all year and SpaceX has now set another new tentative launch for January 2018.

We are excited to see the BFR or Big Falcon Rocket launch early next year from complex 39A. The two side boosters are flight proven cores, meaning they have been launched, landed and are now ready to launch again. The center or main core is a brand new core.

After the launch, the two side boosters will return to their respected landing zones at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station a few miles south of the launch site at Kennedy Space Center. The primary, center core will attempt to land on the autonomous drone ship, “Of Course I Still Love You,” or OCISLY that will be stationed a few hundred miles off the coast of Florida.
